Original Military Issue Boonie Bush Hat 50/50 Nylon Cotton Made in USA

I got my first one on Jan. 1970. Wore that thing almost every day. Took a while to get it sweated in, but after that it was my best friend. Wore it for a year, came home and put it away for a while but got it out of retirement when i started pheasant hunting. Lasted many years. still miss my original, but i think this one will be just fine, just needs breaking in. Thanks again.

I'm a former Marine and these boonie covers are spot on. Best part is the smell....nothing quite like the smell of new uniform items. Makes me fantasize about humping thru the desert with my M249 with 3 belts of ammo and my A-gunner to my right with the spare barrel and two more belts...but alas, reality kicks in and I find myself walking instead with wife, kid, and dog. But now my vigilance is heightened, those [dang] chipmunks could be strapped with suicide vests afterall...

Quality material; tight, even stitching. Fit is a little large and shrank very little in a hot dryer. Shipping was quick, quick.

Great hat. Runs a little large but not too much. I have another boonie but this one is cooler in the sun.

Hat is great. I have a 7 1/2 hat-size and recommend the XL vs. the L. The L fits and has enough play so that I won't feel too constricted, but I like a little more play. XL doesn't feel like it'll come off from normal activity but I might need the draw string if I'm on a boat or there's a strong wind. God bless America.
